The Filipino learning system consits in:
Kindergarten (4-6 years old)
Primary school (7-12 years old)
High School (13-16 years old)
University (from the age of 17)
Only primary school is compulsory. The school year in Philippines goes from the month of June to the month of March (contrary to France and the United States where the school years goes from September to July).
The schools that have participated to the GCI project until now are the Community of Learners (2006-2008), the Center for Positive Future (private schools) and the Flora Ylagan High School (in 2009-2010 - public school).
